ETL Architect Job description:
Join a high performance consulting team designing, developing and deploying a business intelligence and data warehousing project. Provide leadership and direction on ETL portion of project using Informatica PowerCenter 9, data services and potentially Informatica Cloud. SQL Server 2008 is being used as data warehouse with a variety of databases, applications and flat files as data sources.
ETL Architect Job Details:
- Hands-on development using Informatica PowerCenter to create initial ETL load routines and establish standard and templates
- Create design pattern templates for deliverable objects
- Define and implement ETL development standards and procedures
- Define and implement ETL tool configuration
- Ensure effective ETL functional decomposition into deliverable objects
- Ensure ETL quality through inspections and knowledge sharing
- Strong analysis and design skill
- Strong experience with business intelligence and data warehousing design principles and industry best practices.
- Deep understanding of relational database design concepts and SQL programming.
ETL Architect Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of ETL implementations at Fortune 1000 companies
- 5+ years experience with Informatica PowerCenter
ETL Architect Job Location: Greater Boston vicinity
ETL Architect Job Duration: Consulting assignment. Potentially up to a year.
