The Data Doghouse is the home of my "unleashed observations on the business and technology of performance management, business intelligence, and data warehousing."
Boy, that's a mouthful, isn't it?
But when you've been in this field as long as I have (before the term "data warehousing" had been coined) you tend to have a lot to say about it.
You may have seen some of my articles in Information Management , TechTarget, and a few other places. You also may have seen me at some industry conferences, such as DCI and TDWI, where I teach and deliver sessions. I also teach data warehousing at Northeastern University's graduate school of engineering.
As for my "day" job, I'm the founder of Athena IT Solutions, which, as I like to say, focuses on "maximizing your ROI from business intelligence." In other words, I do consulting ( such as data warehouse and business intelligence assessments and implementation), onsite data warehouse training, and often help industry vendors with product assessments and marketing support.
I hope you'll feel free to add your comments to this blog, and email me with any suggestions or hot topics you'd like to see covered here.
